The flight from Seoul to Fukuoka was uneventful. Tiredness had caught up with me and I passed out for the whole flight 🥱😴 After an almost 22 hour journey from home, landed at Fukuoka airport. It then hit me that I was actually going to compete at the World Aquatics Masters Championships. The airport is located very close to the city. So a short taxi ride later, I checked into the Hotel and was ready to crash. The room was great but…Japanese loos require a special mention. As one sits on the seat two things happen: the seat warmer and air extractor switch on for the duration 😂 On ending one’s mission, there is a choice of water sprays (obviously warmed to body temperature!) to leave you spit spot and refreshed 😉😇 I collapsed on the inviting bed. Finally I was away in dreamland🥱😴
